The innocence of being a child is bound in their ability to imagine something to be. The potential to dream further than an individual situation or circumstance is only limited to one’s ability to imagine. The child depicted in this artwork has a blanket draped over her, this is associated with the spirit of which protects her from harm in a world that can be unforgiving to an innocent mind. In many ethnic beliefs, it is said that the spirit of our ancestors guides us through our lives and protect us from harm if we are in tuned to our sub consciousness and listen. Our lives reflect of our thoughts and our conviction to believe will manifest and create what we allow our efforts to become.
